The eye situation gets very complicated-we`ll delve into that in a moment-but first let me explain why I find the whole thing so unbelievable.

I have always just sort of assumed that most men have brown eyes. I`ve never seen statistics on it-it just seemed obvious. This may have something to do with the fact that I have brown eyes and my father has brown eyes, but that`s not the whole thing. I don`t know-don`t you think that most men have brown eyes? Sure, there are famous blue-eyed men-Frank Sinatra, Paul Newman-but you would just think that most men have brown eyes.

Wouldn`t you? If most men didn`t have brown eyes, then the Sinatras and the Newmans wouldn`t stand out.
Right? Yet the vast majority of our presidents have had blue eyes.
And-more amazing still!-the second-place eye color for presidents is not brown.
The second-place eye color is gray.
Gray? Do you know anyone with gray eyes? And even if you do, do you know more people with gray eyes than with brown eyes? This has been keeping me awake at night.

What is it about men with blue eyes that gets them elected president? And what about those gray eyes? What`s the deal on that? The clipping in my pocket did not name the presidents-it just gave the eye colors and the numbers. So I started poring over books devoted to the history of the presidency.

Inexplicably, different history books give different eye-color information.
To muddy the waters even further, some of the history books say that four of our presidents had ”blue-gray” eyes-a category not included in the clipping I`ve been carrying.
And after doing this research, I am absolutely convinced that more than two presidents had hazel eyes.

Why keep you in suspense, though. Here are the presidents, and my best information on the color of their eyes. Be warned that it doesn`t add up the same way the clipping in my pocket has it. Also, Grover Cleveland will drive you crazy. He was elected president twice, with another president in between his terms.

Therefore, many history books count him as two presidents, and say that there have been 40 presidents.
Obviously, though, Grover Cleveland only had one pair of eyes.
So in real history there may be 40 presidents-but in eye-color history there are only 39.

While Ms Trump has been a blonde since birth – aside from a brief journey to the brunette dark side as a 17-year-old in 1999 – but appears to change her eye colour at will.
Interestingly, Esquire reported representatives for Ms Trump refused to comment on her changing look, suggesting the former fashion designer may prefer to keep the trick her little secret.
Whether the makeover is a merely a beauty preference or a sneaky political tactic is up for debate.
Dr Simon Cropper, vision scientist in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne, suggests Ms Trump’s ever-changing eye colour could potentially leave her and her father’s political rivals perplexed.

“One possible effect may be to put people off guard a little by appearing different in such a way that people recognise there is something different but are not sure what it is,” Dr Cropper explains.
The First Daughter might also be seeking to reinforce her reliability when sporting her natural shade.
A 2013 study from Charles University in Prague found people regarded women with brown eyes as “more trustworthy” than their blue-eyed counterparts, when also taking facial features into account.

Alternatively, Ms Trump may just wish to stand out. Brown is the most common eye colour in the world, whereas green is the least common, with only 2 per cent of the population possessing the rare shade. So how have her chameleon peepers managed to fly under the radar for so long? Blame humans’ visual processing habits.

“We seem to process a face holistically rather than just a collection of features,” Dr Cropper explains. “We do, of course, process the features, but its how they hang together that is most meaningful for us. Why was JFK’s casket kept closed?

White House repose – After the autopsy at Bethesda Naval Hospital, President Kennedy’s body was prepared for burial by embalmers from Gawler’s Funeral Home in Washington, who performed the embalming and cosmetic restoration procedures at Bethesda. The Special Forces troops had been brought hurriedly from Fort Bragg in North Carolina, at the request of U.S. Attorney General Robert F.
