A specific term has also been created in Japan for manga and anime that features sexually explicit images of children. They called it “Lolicon”, a short for “Lolita complex”. And according to Flip Guide, a publication that centres around Japanese culture, an estimation that 30 percent to 40 percent of anime and manga have sexual themes and a lot of it includes underage characters.
While explicit content featuring underage characters is a norm in Japan, it is the opposite for some countries. In 2020, Australia’s Border Force has blocked any hentai (porn) and adult anime products from Japan due to its depictions of rape and child sexual abuse.

The majority of humans, except Caucasians, have only brown eyes. So where this is true, brown eyes are seen as the norm and don’t symbolize any special personality traits.
In fact, a common way of showing that a non-white character is special in some way is by giving them non-brown eyes, which does happen in real life, but is extremely rare and just as bad as Purple Eyes as a Mary Sue marking. Even in predominantly Caucasian populations, brown eyes are still the most common and therefore the most normal eye colour, and may be used to symbolize that a character is not naturally special.
As such, brown-eyed characters are only notable when their personalities are particularly matching, so No Real Life Examples, Please, It should be noted that these eye color tropes are not just for characters who have eyes of this color, but when the color actually stands for something significant to that character, like blue for water, green for earth, red for evil, ect.
Please do not add characters who just happen to have eyes of this color without a substantial reason behind it. Examples of Brown Eyes include:
