What’s interesting is that Peralez and Mr. Blue Eyes both wear a distinctive ring, a ring also worn by the rambling conspiracy theorist, Garry the Prophet.

As a further connection, one of Garry the Prophet’s many rants reveals that “blue-eyed people” live in space, and control the politics of earth from the shadows. This seems eerily plausible, based on Mr. Blue Eyes involvement in the Night City mayoral contest, as well as his interest in space from the E3 trailer and Sun ending.

But there’s also something to be said for an enduring mystery, a portion of the story that has plenty of hints but no real concrete answers.

It can keep you thinking about it long after you’ve played, and send you digging around to see what other players have discovered. We’ve met powerful characters in video games before who skulk around behind the scenes, pulling strings and manipulating events in the world. G-Man from Half-Life. The Illusive Man from Mass Effect.

Excitingly, Cyberpunk 2077 may have its own mysterious puppet-master: Mr. Blue Eyes. Mr. Blue Eyes, named for his perpetually glowing blue eyes, is a shadowy and mysterious character, and it’s entirely possible to finish the game without even encountering him. When people take phone calls on their implants or jack into a terminal, their eyes will glow, as they will when they’re electronically transferring money into your bank account.

But you also see glowing eyes when conversing with a “doll,” who is essentially a person being used as sort of a PA system for someone else. Don’t want to attend a meeting in person? Send a doll and communicate through them. Glowing eyes can indicate that the person you’re looking at isn’t really the person you’re talking to.

But is that why Mr. Blue Eyes has glowing eyes? You get to meet Mr. Blue Eyes (opens in new tab) when you complete a certain ending of Cyberpunk 2077, where he hires V to perform a heist to steal data from a space station. But sharp-eyed players have spotted Mr.

Blue Eyes earlier in the game, during a mission called Dream On. The mission, one of Cyberpunk 2077’s best, involves helping out Jefferson Peralez, who is running for Mayor of Night City. It turns out his apartment has been secretly under surveillance, his mayoral run is almost certainly being manipulated from behind the scenes, and worst of all, Jefferson’s brain is being tampered with, akin to brainwashing and reprogramming.

This is probably because he’s refused to work with the corporations that want to influence him and is, as far as we can tell, a decent guy. It’s also possible some shady yet completely human cabal wants to control the mayor by rewriting his personality.

We don’t really find out the truth, though in some Cyberpunk 2077 endings Jefferson wins the mayoral election and calls V during the credits, saying he thinks his wife Elizabeth is in on the plot to control him, too. Back to Mr. Blue Eyes. At the end of the Dream On quest, while on your way to meet with Jefferson in a public park, V receives a threating and mysterious phone call from an unknown person telling him to back off.

Everything goes black and V falls to the ground—indicating that the caller is able to mess with V’s head wirelessly. That’s troubling enough, but when you meet with Jefferson moments after that alarming phone call, you can spot Mr. Blue Eyes observing your meeting from some distance away: That’s a very G-Man move, Mr.

If you happen to have a mod that lets you fly in Cyberpunk 2077 (opens in new tab) (as I do), you can fly over and have a look at Mr. Blue Eyes up close, though you can’t kill him or even hurt him. After the meeting, Mr. Blue Eyes is nowhere to be seen. You also may notice (I didn’t at first) that Mr.

Are these two just a part of some fraternal organization? Is the ring a component of the brainwashing? Is this how Mr. Blue Eyes marks his brainwashing victims—or is Mr. Blue Eyes himself under control of the same rogue AI that’s slowly rewriting Jefferson’s brain? A few more characters have been spotted wearing similar rings, which might indicate it’s simply an asset that pops up from time to time.

But it could be more than that. If you’re on the corpo lifepath, a similar ring is worn by the Arasaka agent who interrupts your very first mission and essentially ends your career as a corpo, setting you on your path for the rest of the game. (This is one of the first pictures I took in Cyberpunk 2077, and I never noticed the ring on that guy’s finger.) Another guy wearing a similar ring was spotted at a table in a scene where you have to sit and talk to Johnny during a mission.

Maybe it’s just a random NPC, or maybe he’s keeping tabs on you. Either way, the ring is getting some attention from Cyberpunk 2077 sleuths (opens in new tab), There’s one more character whose been spotted wearing a ring with the same emblem, and he’s probably not the type you’d guess. Who Is Mr Blue Eyes Cyberpunk 2077 (Image credit: CD Projekt) If you’ve stopped to talk to Garry a few times, you know his conspiracy theories always seem to circle back to beings from Alpha Centauri who control the politicians. “You can recognize them from their cold blue eyes,” he says, adding that they’re covered with synthetic skin to look human.

Of course, Garry says a lot of shit. However, it may just be that Garry is misinterpreting a few things. Garry says he has a malfunctioning chip in his head, and that he hears alien transmissions that are communicated using older technology. According to Johnny Silverhand, the monitoring device at Jefferson’s apartment was using older transmission tech as well, to avoid being intercepted by modern equipment.

Maybe Garry has just been driven mad by hearing these garbled transmissions. Mr. Blue Eyes does have some dealings in space, as shown at the end of the game with the orbital station heist, so what Garry thinks are alien spaceships might just be human space stations.

If you talk to Garry about his various conspiracies, you eventually get a quest to recover a mysterious chip which is being delivered by Maelstrom members to a clandestine duo who are listed as John Doe and Jane Doe when you scan them. Hmm. But when you return to Garry with the chip, he’s gone. According to one of Garry’s acolytes, he’s been abducted by agents in black suits with.

glowing blue eyes. That’s the end of the quest. The chip, if decrypted, contains a reference to something called Project Oracle. But why is Gary wearing a ring like Mr. Blue Eyes and Jefferson Peralez? Is Garry just a plant, an actor put in place to get you to disrupt the Doe’s plans to acquire the chip? Maybe the whole thing was staged and he wasn’t really abducted at all? It could just be another string being pulled from behind the scenes. A netrunner working for Night Corp named Sandra Dorsett is captured by Scavengers, and V and Jackie Welles are sent to rescue her. They find her floating in a tub full of ice (her eyes flickering blue) and bring her to safety.

Later, another job involves recovering one of Dorsett’s data shards, which contains details about Night Corp brainwashing employees and controlling them using a rogue AI. Sounds a lot like what Johnny suspects is happening to Jefferson. Mr. Blue Eyes could also tie into another major character from Cyberpunk lore: Morgan Blackhand (opens in new tab), who was Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith’s player-character in the pen and paper RPG.

Morgan Blackhand doesn’t appear in Cyberpunk 2077, though dataminers have discovered that the game files mark Mr. Blue Eyes as. Morgan Blackhand. (MB and MB, get it?) And just because Blackhand hasn’t been seen since 2023, it doesn’t mean he’s not still lurking around somewhere.

Johnny Silverhand came back from the dead, so why not Morgan Blackhand? The whole thing makes for an enjoyable mystery filled with lots of loose threads and speculation—which is honestly great for Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe Mr. Blue Eyes is a human inhabited by a rogue AI, or maybe he’s not human at all but some sort of AI-controlled android, or even an alien, as Garry suspected.

It’s not a predicament that any person would want to deal with.

But there’s no denying that Jefferson also deserves to know the truth. So, if V tells him the truth about being brainwashed, the credits will show Jefferson driven mad, no longer trusting the wife he once had a great relationship with. It’s a pretty dark message that shows just how much the lives of the couple have been affected by the brainwashing activities of SSI.

Their bid to control the very lives of two people who didn’t deserve to deal with this kind of adversity makes for a harrowing end to one of the best side quests in Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Who Is Mr. Blue Eyes In ‘Cyberpunk 2077,’ Part Of Its Sprawling Rogue AI Unsolved Mystery? Cyberpunk 2077 CDPR This past week, the said that even after millions of hours of gameplay in the past month, not all of the game’s secrets have been uncovered yet.

I am not sure if what I am about to talk about today is A) a mystery that can be solved right now B) a mystery meant to be open-ended or C) a tease for future DLC or a sequel, but I find it rather fascinating all the same. This is the mystery of Mr. Blue Eyes, and the threads of a rogue AI plotline running through the game that you could miss if you’re not paying attention, but ultimately it could be a bigger threat than Arasaka ever was.

Spoilers for a few sidequests, and the “Johnny” ending of the game follow. Mr. Blue Eyes is a mysterious character glimpsed effectively twice in the game. First, you can see Mr. Blue Eyes during the finale of the Peralez questline, where you learn the political power couple is not only being spied on, but they are effectively being mind-controlled.

You go to meet Jefferson Peralez in a park and before you do, receive a threatening, garbled phone call warning that whatever you tell him, it won’t matter. Players have spotted Mr. Blue Eyes on a nearby terrace overlooking this conversation, and presumably, he made the call. “Mr. Blue Eyes” is not a player-created nickname, it’s literally how the game identifies him if you scan him.

This quest ends abruptly with no resolution, no matter what you choose to tell Jefferson, and Johnny speculates that what we’re dealing with here is not human, but a powerful Rogue AI, the kind that may have breached the Blackwall put in place after the AI Wars to keep them out.

In Cyberpunk, characters get glowing eyes for two reasons, when they’re transferring data to one another, or when they’re being remotely controlled like a Doll.

The idea is that a Rogue AI is potentially simply using this man’s body to do its work. You only actually meet Mr. Blue Eyes once, in the “Blaze of Glory” Johnny/Rogue ending where he’s the one who hires you for what effectively seems like a suicide mission, a solo robbery of the Crystal Palace space station.

It’s not clear what tactical significance this mission has (since we don’t get to see its conclusion) or if Mr.
Blue Eyes is simply sending V to die (in a blaze of glory) because it views us as a potential threat, given our involvement in his affairs in the past.
One more thing that players have noticed is a series of rings that a number of characters wear, all of whom are linked to this either directly or indirectly.

Mr. Blue Eyes himself has one, Jefferson Peralez has one, Garry the Prophet has one, that Shard scientist guy you kidnap has one. The idea is that they’re all current or former members of some sort of cabal pulling the strings behind the scenes. The clearest look at this conspiracy is during the Peralez mission when you realize whoever is behind this doesn’t want to just influence the mayor, but literally control him like a puppet.

There are too many connected threads here for this not to be something,
I have no idea if Cyberpunk is just going to leave this open as a looming sense of dread, or if there will be literal DLC addressing this, or maybe even a storyline for an inevitable sequel years down the road.
But I thought it was cool, and somewhat easy to miss the larger picture your first time through.

It’s usually connected to someone transferring data or taking a phone call, however, it can also affect people known as “Dolls” when they’re being controlled remotely.

The idea is that Mr Blue Eyes’ human form is simply a puppet for the real baddie hiding behind the curtain.
Someone noticed that Mr Blue Eyes and those connected to him (Peralez, Garry the Prophet, the Shard scientist) all wear the same rings.
This could mean they’re all mixed up in the same trouble or belong to some sort of technological cult.

Others have noted Mr Blue Eyes could be linked to V’s first mission where a Night Corp netrunner called Sandra Dorsett is found in a tub full of ice with her eyes flickering blue. A later mission involves one of Dorsett’s data shards, which has wild claims about Night Corp trying to brainwash employees and control them with a rogue AI.

Hmmm, where have we heard that before? The final piece of the puzzle features a trip through the game’s data files and a blast from the past. In the tabletop RPG, Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith’s character was called Morgan Blackhand. Although Blackhand hasn’t been seen in Cyberpunk lore since 2023, it just so happens the Cyberpunk 2077 files refer to Mr Blue Eyes as Morgan Blackhand.

We’d say mystery solved, but if anything, we’re more confused than ever. Either way, there’s clearly more than meets the “eye” to Mr Bue Eyes. Hopefully, the upcoming slew of DLC content will shed some light on ol’ Blue Eyes. And no, we don’t mean Frank Sinatra.

Is Lizzy Wizzy a robot?

With the release of Cyberpunk 2077 just around the corner (tomorrow!), earlybird players have spotted Elon Musk, or a very close look alike, in the background of one of the scenes. CNET reported encountering the SpaceX founder in the bathroom of a “corporate” play through, where the playable character “V” quickly shoos him away.

Whether it’s actually Musk is yet to be confirmed, but the resemblance is uncanny. Elsewhere, Grimes will take on the character of Lizzy Wizzy, a cyborg pop star whose whole body was replaced with cybernetics after she died onstage (get a closer look at the character and her backstory here ). Voiced by the artist herself, Lizzy Wizzy will appear in the game alongside a character played by Keanu Reeves,

Grimes’ tracks “4ÆM” and “Delicate Weapon” will also feature on the soundtrack, alongside music by SOPHIE, Shygirl, Run The Jewels, Nina Kravitz, and more, All of the artists featured will appear under fictional identities, with their music being piped in via in-game radio stations.

In the ending, Viktor tells V that there is no information to find out about Blue Eyes, which likely means he is very high up the ladder of some organization. Which ending is better in Cyberpunk?

What is the secret ending? – Cyberpunk 2077’s secret ending could arguably be called the “best” ending. Without getting too much into spoilers, this ending saves the most lives by having V go through the final mission alone with Johnny. In the end, Cyberpunk 2077’s protagonist V’s fate is determined by the player, with one unavoidable caveat: if V survives Cyberpunk, they only have six months to live due to the Relic.

V never concretely escapes their fate, but despite the looming tragedy, V can manage to secure a happy ending – or at least the closest thing to a happy ending that exists in the dark Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The following article contains spoilers for Cyberpunk 2077. The easy aspect of narrowing down V’s happiest ending is that most endings are disqualified off the bat.

The suicide ending, known as the “Path of Least Resistance” is particularly morose, and about the most on-the-nose “bad ending” a video game can have. A good rule of thumb: any ending that could be straight out of Silent Hill is probably best avoided.

The Devil” ending is a similarly sinister end to the Cyberpunk 2077 story and has V side with Arasaka, a villainous megacorporation, to remove their biochip.
Either V gets trapped in cyberspace with no assurance they’ll return, or they go back to Earth abandoned by their friends.
The “Temperance” ending – yet another outcome that sees V die in Cyberpunk – doesn’t make the cut either.

Ultimately, Cyberpunk’s best ending is up to the player, whose choices mold V’s personality. Early in the game, Dexter DeShawn asks the player whether they’d rather ” live in peace ” or go down in a ” blaze of glory,” and when it comes to happy endings, those are the only options.

Battle of the Mechs – The next room has a few more enemies and it’ll be the last room on your way to freedom. Just make sure you hit up the room at the top of the stairs before proceeding through the door. You’ll want a lot of grenades. In the next room Royce is battling two Militech Mech.

You definitely want them destroyed, so take cover and chuck your grenades.
EMP grenades are especially effective against the mechs.
If you haven’t changed your grenades yet, you can do so in your Inventory menu.
Note that you can hack the mechs too! advertisement These two mech deal a ton of damage, so watch your health carefully.

Don’t stay in one spot for too long either. Moving around the room is your best bet for survival. Once a part of the mech is blow off, you can hit that spot to do critical damage. Royce and the rest of Maelstrom will help you in taking them down too. Once the fight is over, you can sass Royce for his general lack of appreciation for your assistance.

It’s time to get the hell out of this place. You should have earned another level (and a perk point and attribute point with it). Before you leave, though. Give this area one final sweep if you want a ton of free ammo and even an LMG called the Defender. That should be sitting on a crate in this room. Once you’re satisfied with your haul, head on out.

Biography – Around April 2077, Sandra was captured by ; her muted by a jammer chip forced into her neuroport. With the chip in place, could not respond to her condition.,, and infiltrated the scavenger base to find her floating in an ice-filled tub. As V removes the chip and Sandra from the tub, she entered cardiac arrest, which V can alleviate with an airhypo.

Trauma Team quickly arrived in 3 minutes and took Sandra off the hands of V and Jackie from the balcony of the Scav’s apartment.
Sandra Dorsett made a full recovery and returns to work at Night Corp.
She had been uncovering Night Corp’s test with and stole information while avoiding detection.
She put the information on a for safe keeping but lost after she was kidnapped.

reconnects Sandra with V, as someone able to recover an encrypted data shard with the content about Night Corp’s AI tests. Sandra’s demands were simple – to keep the data of this shard concealed and delivered to her apartment. To no surprise, the object of interest fell into the Scavenger hands, upon finding out, Sandra paused, still suffering trauma over the events she had no way of fully remembering.

Seems like you shouldn’t expect to learn more about Peralez in the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion. Who Is Mr Blue Eyes Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberpunk 2077 quest director has confirmed that Jefferson Peralez’s questline is completely finished in the game and won’t get a continuation in the upcoming DLC Phantom Liberty, According to the dev, the story was always intended to leave some questions unanswered.

Jefferson Peralez is a side character in Cyberpunk 2077, involved in ‘ I Fought the Law ‘ and ‘Dream On ‘ questlines.
